Pot calling the Kettle Black

Obama acted civilly enough in congratulating Sarah Palin as the newly selected running mate for Sen. McCain. Despite this, his camp immediately began slinging mud. They are slamming McCain for choosing a vp as inexperienced as Palin.

Those who live in glass houses...

Senator Obama has been in the Senate for a whopping 3 and 1/2 years. Half of that time period, he has spent on the campaign trail, so what does that give him-less than 2 years experience in the Senate? The rest of his life, he's been a big business man involved with shady characters. Yes he has experience...in swindling and making money. What has he ever done involving foreign policy? Can he even point out Iraq on a map?

Gov. Sarah Palin has been the governor of Alaska for the past 2 years, a beloved governor who has done great things for her state. She was the mayor of a town of 9,000. She chaired on the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Comission and served as Ethics Supervisor for 2 years. She's smart, tough and sticks by her guns. For example, she gave up the governor's private jet and othe money wasting perks upon becomming governor. Her husband is a union worker for BP Oil, and he is also a commercial fisherman.

How dare Obama's people attack Palin? The Republican VICE Presidential nominee has at least twice the political experience as the Democratic PRESIDENTIAL nominee. She is also obviously far more in touch with the problems faced by the working man. Her international experience is limited...but so is Obama's! McCain's prowess in foreign affairs more than makes up for it.

I'm so tired of the Obama camp saying McCain is a heartbeat away from handing Palin the presidency! Regardless of age or health, EVERY president is a heartbeat away from handing over the presidency. How young and healthy was JFK? Similar to how young and healthy Obama is- would Democrats want Joe Biden as President? Obviously they don't or they would have voted for him in primaries. I'm so tired of that argument.

I suppose the Dems need something to grasp at seeing as the Republican ticket now has it all- foreign policy experience, military knowledge, economic/oil expertise, understanding of the working class, not to mention a bucket full of charm.
